Based on the spiritual Peace Like a River, Streamlined is cornet duet that jokes around with the idea of having peace in your cornet section. Often cornet players can be rather competitive and have egos almost the size of trombone players, but as we will see in this duet, it is vital to work together and be streamlined in order to succeed. Marcus and his brother Brindley played the premiere of this duet in 2017 at a joint festival between the NYSB and Canadian Staff Band.
